Talking Pet Studio helps you bring your companions to life. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it to power the experience, and the choices you have to control your data.
Information we collect
We only collect the data needed to provide a secure, delightful studio and community experience.
- Account details. Email addresses, display names, and authentication identifiers managed by Supabase so you can sign in securely across devices.
- Creative uploads. Pet photos, audio, and rendered videos you choose to generate or share. We store this media to create videos, power the gallery, and let you revisit your projects.
- Usage insights. Event data such as feature selections, render timestamps, plan limits, and approximate location (derived from IP) to troubleshoot issues and improve performance.
- Support interactions. Messages sent to our support channels, including attachments, so we can resolve questions and maintain an audit trail of requests.
- Cookies and device data. Session cookies, preferred voices, and browser metadata required to keep you signed in, remember settings, and prevent fraud.
How we use your information
- Authenticate you, enforce plan limits, and personalize the studio experience.
- Generate pet videos, manage drafts, and display approved clips in community spaces.
- Monitor system reliability, detect abuse, and keep our platform safe for all pet parents.
- Process payments and send transactional notices about account activity and billing.
- Respond to support requests, feedback, or legal inquiries that require context.
When we share data
We only share personal information with trusted processors that help us operate Talking Pet Studio, each bound by contractual privacy and security obligations.
- Infrastructure providers: Supabase, Vercel, and cloud storage partners that host your media and deliver the app experience.
- Payment processors: PayWhirl, Stripe, or similar services that manage subscriptions and receipts on our behalf.
- Analytics and monitoring: Privacy-conscious tools that help us understand performance, detect errors, and improve reliability.
- Legal compliance: Authorities or third parties when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
We never sell personal information or allow partners to use it for unrelated advertising.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your content and account data for as long as it is needed to deliver the service or comply with legal obligations. You can manage retention in several ways:
- Delete individual videos or photos from the studio to remove them from our active storage.
- Contact support to request account deletion, which removes personal data and revokes access within 30 days.
- Retention backups are encrypted and pruned on a fixed schedule so historical records do not linger longer than necessary.
Your choices and rights
- Access or update profile details anytime within your account settings.
- Request exports of your media or personal data by contacting contact@talkingpetstudio.com.
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails by updating preferences or using unsubscribe links.
- Appeal moderation decisions tied to your data by replying to the enforcement notice or emailing contact@talkingpetstudio.com.
Security commitments
We implement least-privilege access, encryption in transit and at rest, and continuous monitoring of suspicious activity. Internal access to your media is limited to vetted personnel responding to support requests or ensuring community safety.
Updates to this policy
We will notify you through the app or email if changes materially impact how your data is used. Continued use of the service after notice means you accept the updated policy.
